1. Our Commitment
Latamchronicle is committed to fair and accurate journalism. If you are the subject of a story published on our platform, we believe you have the right to respond. This page explains how you can exercise your right of reply.
2. Who Can Submit a Right of Reply
Any individual, organisation, company, or institution that is the subject of a published article on Latamchronicle and believes the coverage was inaccurate, unfair, or did not adequately reflect their position may submit a right of reply.
3. How to Submit a Reply
To submit a right of reply, please email us at: reply@latamchronicle.com
Your submission should include:
- The title and URL of the article in question
- Your name and your relationship to the subject of the article
- A clear statement of the points you wish to respond to
- Your response in plain text (maximum 500 words)
- Your contact details (kept confidential unless you consent to disclosure)
4. Our Process
Upon receiving a right of reply submission, our editorial team will:
- Acknowledge receipt within 2 business days
- Review the submission against the original article and our editorial standards
- Respond within 5 business days with a decision on publication
Where a right of reply is published, it will appear prominently alongside or below the original article. We reserve the right to edit submissions for length and clarity, and will not publish content that is defamatory, abusive, or unlawful.
5. Corrections vs. Right of Reply
A right of reply is distinct from a correction request. If you believe factual errors appear in a published article, please refer to our Corrections Policy. A right of reply is for cases where you wish to add your perspective or contest the framing of a story, even where the facts as published are accurate.
